Vince Russo discusses Vince McMahon’s scandal

Vince McMahon has been in the eye of the storm in recent weeks and it will not be easy for him to get out of this situation. In fact, from an investigation by the Wall Street Journal, it emerged that the now former WWE boss gave $3 million to a former employee with whom he had an extramarital affair.

Dave Meltzer, a well-known correspondent for the Wrestling Observer, provided further details regarding the Chairman’s alleged reports: “I spoke to some writers who worked at WWE in the early 2000s. Everyone told me that Vince acted strange at times.

He would come in and say out of nowhere that this or that woman should be pushed, without ever specifying the reason. It looked as if McMahon had slept with him, although no one ever explicitly said so. Many of them weren’t even ready to step into the ring, which made the situation even stranger.”

“If WWE is really going to move from PG to TV-14, it means there’s something big underneath. I wouldn’t be surprised if they decide to use the allegations against Vince McMahon as part of a storyline.

It would be a shocking move, which would leave everyone speechless” – said Vince Russo. Vince also spoke of his protégé Bray Wyatt: “Numerous experts were convinced that Bray was destined to follow in the footsteps of absolute legends like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker.

The WWE creative team was able to push Wyatt to a certain level, but then the situation escalated. If you don’t have new ideas to keep an athlete on the crest of the wave, you can’t help but bring him down.” Former WWE head writer Vince Russo believes that Bianca Belair and many other stars have been miscast by the company.

“I think Rhea Ripley is a killer, I think they use her wrong. They don’t have a clue how to use this woman but I think she’s a star. I think Bianca Belair is a star, I think she’s miscast, I think Riddle is good, I think he’s miscast. So a lot of the people that I really like and admire, I just think they’re totally miscast,” said Russo.
